Final Exam Review

The final exam is on Tuesday, May 19 - note the times below are different from the regular class periods.  Click on your section number to get the correct test review:

Course Syllabus

This provides information on the required texts, course requirements, and a schedule of readings, exams, and other assignments.  It is a PDF file, so you need (and probably already have on your computer) the Adobe Acrobat Reader.  If you don't have Reader, it's available as a free download at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

Textbook Website

The textbook publisher has established a website to support this textbook. It includes chapter outlines, interactive quizzes, weblinks, and other supplementary material.

Study Questions (for Sec. 4)

These are also PDF files, requiring the Adobe Acrobat Reader (see the note under "Syllabus" above).

Study Questions (for Sec. 5)

These are also PDF files, requiring the Adobe Acrobat Reader (see the note under "Syllabus" above).

Lecture Outlines - (PowerPoint Presentations)

To view these, you need to either have the PowerPoint program installed on your computer, or have downloaded the free PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft.  Here are a couple tips:

  • If you already have PowerPoint on your computer, you can choose particular slides to view (without the fades into each point) in the "Normal" pane..  This view will also show you the Speaker notes (typically in a pane below the slide.  Or, you can do the slide show view to follow along like in class (with no Speaker notes).
  • If you use the PowerPoint viewer, you can view the slide show as in class (with no "speaker's notes").  HINT:  if you right-click on the screen, you'll get a drop-down box so you can advance to a particular slide.

Other Assignments

Supreme Court Cases (for the Court Cases Assignment)

These are also PDF files, requiring the Adobe Acrobat Reader (see the note under "Syllabus" above).
